Honouring Rural Women: the Forgotten Mothers Project
In commemoration of Rural Women, Ashraful Aid Malawi carried out the Forgotten Mothers Project, reaching elderly women and widows with essential food packs.
The initiative celebrated the strength, sacrifices and resilience of these women while providing essential support to restore hope, uphold dignity and remind them they are seen, valued and never forgotten.
Our volunteers visited the women at their homes, sat with them and handed over food packs.
