Who we are

Ashraful Aid Foundation Limited is a Malawian company limited by guarantee and the Malawi member of the Ashraful Aid family. We work from our office at AGI House, 1st Floor, Maselema, Limbe.

Our Malawi focus is food security, water and sanitation (WASH), and livelihoods, chosen for the country's size and needs, alongside health, education, disaster relief and social development.

Governance

Ashraful Aid Malawi has its own board.

• Board: sets strategy, approves budgets and audits.
• Country management: runs projects and the Malawi office.
• Shared support: finance and compliance, monitoring and evaluation, operations, donor care and fundraising.

How we stay accountable

• Multi-level approval for every project request: procurement, finance and audit, with separation of duties.
• Accounts prepared by independent external accountants, then audited and certified by a Malawi-based auditor.
• Separate Zakaah and Lillah bank accounts.
• Evidence for every project (photos, reports) before it is closed.
